1996
January 6th- Snape tells Harry he'll be teaching him Occlumency every Monday night. Arthur gets out of St. Mungo's.
January 7th- Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny go back to school on the Knight Bus.
January 8th- Ten Death Eaters break out of Azkaban. First Occlumency lesson. Harry collapses because Voldemort is happy. Fudge visits the Muggle Prime Minister, John Major.
January 9th- Hagrid is on probation.
January 10th- Educational Decree Number Twenty-Six passed: Teachers are banned from giving students any information unrelated to their subjects
February 14th- Harry tell Rita Skeeter his story for publication in The Quibbler.
February 19th- Quibbler comes out. Harry is banned from Hogsmeade. Educational Decree Number Twenty-Seven is passed: Students possessing a copy of The Quibbler will be expelled.
February 20th- Harry dreams he is Voldemort.
February 26th- Harry gets inside Snape's head during Occlumency. Umbridge fires Trelawny, but Dumbledore lets her stay and has Firenze the centaur take over Divination.
March 30th- Seamus joins Dumbledore's Army. Draco catches Harry leaving the Room of Requirements. Dumbledore takes responsibility for Dumbledore's Army and flees arrest.
March 31st- Educational Decree Number Twenty-Eight is passed: Umbridge is Headmistress. Draco and other Slytherins join the Inquisitorial Squad. Umbridge interrogates Harry.
April 1st- Draco interrupts Occlumency lessons. Harry sees Snape call Lily a Mudblood in Snape's Pensieve. Snape ends Occlumency lessons.
April 5th-7th- Easter break.
April 8th- Fred and George make their exit from Hogwarts.
May 25th- Harry and Hermione meet Graup.
June 3rd-13th- O.W.L.S.
June 13th- Hagrid flees. McGonagall is stunned unconscious. Umbridge confesses to sending Dementors after Harry. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and Ginny ride Thestrals to the Ministry.
June 14th- Fight in the Department of Mysteries. Harry's prophecy is smashed. Sirius falls into the veil. Dementors leave Azkaban. Fudge visits the Muggle Prime Minister again.
June 20th- Umbridge leaves Hogwarts.
June 21st- End of term.
July 14th- Brockdale Bridge collapses.
July 15th- Amelia Bones is murdered. Giants upset trees in the West country. Muggles think it was a hurricane.
July 16th- Emmaline Vance is murdered.
July 19th- Dumbledore takes Harry from Privet Drive.
July 20th- Fudge and new Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour meet with the Muggle Prime Minister. Snape makes an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa Malfoy to protect Draco. O.W.L. results are recieved.
July 31st- Ollivander and Florean Fortescue go missing. Ollivander is held at Malfoy Manor. Igor Karkaroff's body is found.


1997
January 6th- Harry, Ron, Ginny, & Hermione floo back to Hogwarts.
January 7th- Dumbledore's blackened hand hasn't healed. Harry watches Voldemort visit Morfin Gaunt in Dumbledore's Pensieve and Slughorn's meeting with Riddle concerning Horcruxes.
February 8th- Harry finds out Crabbe and Goyle are working as look outs for Draco. Harry starts tracking Draco with the Marauder's Map.
February 22nd- Hagrid overhears Dumbledore arguing with Snape. Snape doesn't want to kill Dumbledore. Dumbledore informs Snape of the soul fragment inside Harry and that Voldemort must be the one to kill Harry. Snape shows Dumbledore his doe Patronus.
March 1st- Hogsmeade trip canceled. Ron's birthday, he eats love potion meant for Harry and drinks poison. Harry saves him. Dumbledore is mad at Snape.
March 8th- Harry has Kreacher and Dobby follow Draco.
March 10th- Dumbledore shows Harry his memory of Tom Riddle applying to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.
March 16th- Harry finds the Sectumsempra hex. Kreacher and Dobby give their first report to Harry. Draco has been visiting the Room of Requirements.
March 17th- Mundungus is sent to Azkaban. Harry tries to enter the Room of Requirements.
April 7th- Dumbledore is gone again.
April 21st- Harry takes Felix Felicis. Dumbledore returns. Aragog's funeral.
April 22nd- Slughorn gives Harry his Horcrux memory. Dumbledore and Harry watch it. Katie Bell returns.
May- Harry almost kills Draco with Sectumsempra. Snape gives Harry detention that prevents him from playing in the last Quidditch game.
June- Harry and Dumbledore attempt to retrieve Slytherin's locket. R.A.B. has taken it and replaced it with a fake. Draco Malfoy assists Death Eaters in invading Hogwarts. Albus Dumbledore is killed by Severus Snape. Bill Weasley is scarred by Fenrir Greyback. The funeral of Albus Dumbledore. Harry decided he will not return to Hogwarts.

July 1997:
-Nymphadora "Tonks" and Remus Lupin are married.
27th- Harry leaves the Dursley's. Hedwig and Mad Eye Moody are killed. George Weasley loses an ear.
31st- Harry turns 17. Scrimgeour reads Harry, Ron, and Hermione Dumbledore's will.

August 1997:
1st- Fleur and Bill's are married. The Ministry falls. Minister Scrimgeour is killed and Pious Thicknesse takes over as Minister of Magic. Wedding is ambushed, Trio escapes to Muggle Town then Grimmauld Place.
5th- Trio starts monitoring entrance to the Ministry of Magic and planning to infiltrate and get the Slytherin locket.
22nd- List of Muggleborns needed for interrogation is posted in the Daily Prophet.

September 1997:
Trio
1st- Trio does not return to Hogwarts.
2nd- Trio infiltrates the Ministry of Magic. They narrowly escape, Ron is splinched.
Hogwarts
1st- Students return to Hogwarts. Snape is the Headmaster. Alecto Carrow is the Muggles Studies teachers and Amycus Carrow is the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, but teachers offense and Dark Arts instead of defense. Blaise Zabini is Head Boy and Padma Patil is Head Girl.
Students return to school where the introduction of their new Headmaster and teachers causes upset.
Outside
Order members round up more Muggle kids in a makeshift school.

October 1997:
Trio
Ron leaves the group.
Hogwarts
Mass protest erupt over unfair calling in the Slytherin vs. Gryffindor match even though Gryffindor played a poor game. Protest put down by the first torture on Ernie MacMillan having received a broken nose and gash to the ear.
Outside
Make shift school finally receives beds mid-month, but there are only four bedrooms and children and staff are divided among the four by sex not age.

November 1997:
Trio
Hogwarts
Half-bloods and Purebloods are separated for everything, tables divided at meals and in classes and even riding separate carts at Hogsmeade.
Outside
Kids start to have cabin fever and refuse to study unless they get to go outside. Compromise; the outside is brought in.

December 1997:
Trio
24th- Harry and Hermione visit Godric's Hollow. They find Bathilda Bagshot dead and are attacked by Nagini. They narrowly escape when Voldemort appears.
26th- A silver doe leads Harry to a lake in the Forest of Dean where he finds Godric Gryffindor's sword. Ron finds him and saves him. Then Harry has Ron destroy the Locket horcrux.
28th- Trio visits Xenophilius Lovegood's house. He tells them about the Deathly Hallows. They find out Luna has been kidnapped. They are almost captured.
Hogwarts
With the majority of the students scared silent the small amount of D.A.'s have their first meeting right before the winter break. On the 20th, Luna Lovegood is kidnapped from the Hogwarts Express.
Outside
Andromeda Tonks brings a small Christmas to the trapped Children and they are all allowed to write one letter to their family delivered by Fred and George.


1998
January 1998:
Trio
Camping out and planning.
Hogwarts
Returning from break several more students are noticed missing, mainly those with half-blood status. Those remaining are forced to were glowing "H" badges except for in their houses. William Summerby is the first to speak out and is thus tortured.
Outside
A few more students added to their small home the children begin teaching but are warned of D.E. searches in Muggle cities and a magic ban is put on that it shall only be used during classes and lights out at 9 pm.

February 1998:
Trio
Camping out and planning.
Hogwarts
9th- Carrows cancel St. Valentine's Day.
10th- Snape announces there will be a St. Valentine's dance, but that it is segregated. The dance is mandatory and students will be given same blood dates when they arrive.
14th- DA's arrange Valentine's with anti-Voldemort propaganda to rain in the Great Hall during breakfast.

Outside
London house gets wind of Tonk's baby.
29th- Power goes out in the London hideaway. It was found to be a blown fuse from the storm.
17th- Death Eater Balthazar Bole is given a list of students to deal with.


March 1998:
Trio
7th- Trio gets picked up by Snatchers. Peter Pettigrew kills himself with silver hand from Voldemort when showing remorse to Harry. Dobby helps the Trio escape with Ollivander, Griphook, and Luna Lovegood. Dobby is killed by Bellatrix during escape. All three go stay with Bill and Fluer.
Hogwarts
Singing shamrocks pop up from a mishap in Herbology.
22nd- Students leave for week long Easter break. McGonagall asks halfblooods not to leave for their own safety. Neville Longbottom also stays.

Outside
15th- Fred Weasley and Balthazar Bole duel.
31st- Burglars break in to the London safehouse. Fred, Luna, and Dean save the day. Luna stays at the safehouse for her studies.


April 1998:
Trio
7th- Harry and Ron plan the Gringott's heist.
Hogwarts
1st- Students return to school. Ginny Weasley stays at the Burrow.
4th- Illegal Quidditch game between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. All students participating and watching were punished. Quidditch was canceled. Balthazar Bole is stationed at Hogwarts as security and punishment enforcement.
15th- William Summerby is violently tortured after being caught snogging Josiane Dorny, a Pureblood.
19th- Colin Creevey is caught by Vincent Crabbe in Hogsmeade. Neville Longbottom rescues Colin and Vincent reports the incident. Colin Creevey is kept in Gryffindor Tower by his peers from that point on.
23rd- Due to a report of Muggleborns in Hogsmeade and other issues, all Halfbloods are forced to stand without food in the Great Hall for the entire day.
23rd Evening- Hufflepuff Wayne Hopkins throws an illegal party that is busted by the Carrows. Any partiers caught were punished. Many escaped with assistance from DAs. Neville called an emergency DA meeting where he suggests anyone caught, in hiding, or having any other sort of trouble should live in the Room of Requirements from that point on.

Outside
1st- Colin Creevey sneaks out and goes to Hogwarts.
3rd- Reggie Summers is rescued from the streets of London by Fred.
8th- Students are informed of Ted Tonks' death.
23rd- Muggleborns are taken from the safehouse by automobile and relocated to the Weasley's Aunt Muriel's house.


May 1998:
Trio
1rst- Trio heads to Hogwarts in search of Horcruxes. Ron and Hermione destroy Helga Hufflepuff's cup. Harry finds Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem. Diadem is destroyed in Fiendfyre by Vincent Crabbe. Trio rescues Draco Malfoy and Gregory Goyle. Vincent dies in the fire.
2nd- The Battle at Hogwarts. Harry faces Voldemort, as seen by Neville. Harry goes into a coma after destroying all of the horcruxes. Voldemort is defeated by Neville Longbottom. The public is not aware of this. It's a well known fact to everyone that Harry Potter defeated Voldemort and is currently missing. Only Neville, Minerva MacGonagal, and Kingsley Shacklebolt.
Hogwarts
1rst- Trio appears at Hogwarts. Neville sends out a call to all DAs to return to Hogwarts for a big fight. The Carrows are incapacitated, Snape runs away to Voldemort.
2nd- Battle at Hogwarts. Order members, Weasley family, and many others arrive to help. Many deaths: Voldemort, Bellatrix Black, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Nymphadora Tonks, Balthazar Bole, Fred Weasley, Morag MacDougal, Aloisia Solberg, Nira Katkar, Colin Creevey, Reggie Summers

Outside
2nd- Many of age Muggleborns and Order Members that were watching over the Muggleborns returned to Hogwarts for the Battle of Hogwarts.

After the Battle- The wizarding world was in an uproar. Anyone with links to Death Eater's either started hiding them or went into hiding themselves after Voldemort fell. Kingsley Shacklebolt and other members of the Order of the Phoenix. Steps were taken to start righting the wrongs of the Ministry from the past long months. The first of many steps was to free all captured innocents and imprison dark wizards.

June 1998:
The Ministry and Diagon Alley were both being slowly repaired. The wizarding world came together and helped each other best they could. Many Ministry members that were let go due to suspicions of unpure bloodlines were rehired with apologies and often better positions. Many younger workers formerly in training positions were given full spots to make up for losses.

July 1998:
Early in the month, a rushed election with one name on the ballot named Kingsley Shacklebolt as the new Minister of Magic. One of his first acts was naming May 2nd a national day of celebration and May 3rd and national day of mourning and remembrance.
The large memorial for everyone who fought and died at the Hogwart's battle was completed at the beginning of the month. The memorial is in Diagon Alley. A ceremony was held there for mourning.

August 1998:
Peace! Relatively peaceful that is. There was repairs going on, but still fun to be had.

September 1998:
1rst- Hogwarts is not in good enough repair for students. Students are taken to Sangster Institute. Houses are nulled and the boys and girls are separated and housed by year. Aurors Chang and Chambers are sent to the new school to assist with security.
21rst- New Quidditch teams are posted. The games will remain the same dates and practices will also remain as scheduled by the captains.

October 1998:
6th- The magic in Madam Hooch's broom goes mad and she in injured. Roger Davies is set as a replacement for her. Strange incidents continue happening from this point and an investigation team is sent in. Wand magic is banned, including flying and use of Quidditch materials.
31rst- A Halloween masquerade at the gentlemen's club in town is busted because of the large number of students who broke the rules and snuck out to attend. All students involves were punished.

November 1998:
1rst week- Sixth year students took sit their makeup O.W.L.S.
6th- Hagrid's bloodhound, Fang is discovered dead and skinned by Hermione Granger.
9th- Magical ban is lifted
17th- The force that has been harassing the school is discovered. A student, Riza Rivers, is nearly sacrificed but rescued by the on-site Aurors.

December 1998:
1rst week- Class of '98 sit their makeup N.E.W.T.S.
19th- Winter break starts
- The Ministry of Magic stops accepting random visitors and institutes a curfew in magical cities/areas. No official reason is given.


1999
January 1999:
5th- School starts up again. Houses are reinstated. Quidditch is rebooted for fairness.
